You just installed Google Calendar for Android to organize your time. First of all, even if its use is free, the application requires a Google account. If you don’t have one, you can create one in minutes.
The same account can be used to access all Google services: Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Photos… The procedure for creating a Google account is the same from any of the Google services.
Create a Google account to use Google Calendar
1. From the pictogram at the top right of the screen, choose “Add another account”, then “Create an account”. If you already have a Google account, you can simply choose to use it by selecting it from the list.
2. When you create a Google account, some basic information is requested: surname, first name, date of birth, gender.
3. A Gmail address is automatically created when the account is opened, but you are not obliged to use it afterwards. It can be generated by the system, however you can also customize it.
4. After accepting the terms of service, then choosing the personalization settings for ads and cookies, let’s go, you can use Google Calendar by logging in with the account you have just created.
Once the application is installed and the Google account created, you can start adding events, tasks, reminders, and use Google Calendar as a real assistant to manage the organization of your time.
