This is how you use Cirrus
Cirrus is free to download via the developer’s website and works on macOS, even on older versions such as El Capitan. Follow these steps to use the app:
- Download Cirrus – go to Eclectic Light And download the latest version of Cirrus. Open the app and give the necessary access rights.
- Check your iCloud files – In the main window you see a list of files in iCloud Drive and their status. Here you can see if there are files stuck in the synchronization process.
- Dissolve problems
- Right -click on a file and choose Download If it is not synchronized correctly.
- Use the Evict-option to delete a local file and have it downloaded again from iCloud.
- Perform a testupload via the menu Upload test file To see if iCloud still works well.
- View log activities Under the tab Logs You can view the iCloud-related activities. This helps to see which files experience problems and where the delay is.
