ING is struggling with a malfunction: mobile banking not possible (update)

Many ING customers have been experiencing problems with internet banking since Monday morning. The bank indicates that they are working on a solution.

ING internet banking malfunction

ING customers cannot do internet banking via the website and the mobile banking app. Starting the app gives the following error: “Not available. Mobile banking is not available. Try again later. Sorry for the inconvenience.” The website shows the following message: “Sorry, something went wrong. That’s not up to you. We try to solve it as soon as possible. Please try again later.” also via Allestoringen.nl Complaints about internet banking via ING are pouring in around 10 a.m. About 81% have problems logging in via the mobile banking app.

ING does not report anything about the outage on its website. Here can be read that all services are working properly. The bank does indicate on Twitter that there is a malfunction. ING employee ^Franck is busy copying and pasting the following response: “There seem to be problems logging into the App at the moment. We are doing our best to resolve these as quickly as possible.” ING was also hit by a disruption in January and February.
