Hyundai’s N Division is hungry. In the Netherlands it already delivers the i30 N and the i30 N Fastback, but it does not stop there. Crossover Kona also comes as hard-hitting N!
Hyundai has chased the upcoming Kona N over the Nürburgring again, and luckily there are pictures of it! The new images show that the superlative of the Kona is less fanatically pasted with camouflage material than before. At the front, the sharply cut LED strips pierce the camouflage material and the clearly sportier bumper and spoiler work of the sniffed Kona are also more visible than ever.
The Kona N will probably get the 2.0 T-GDI, well-known from the i30 N, which produces 250 hp. If you order the i30 N as a Performance, you even make 270 hp available. Anyone who thinks that after the arrival of the Kona N in the N area it is over and out for the brand, is wrong. The new generation i20 is also dipped in the spicy N sauce!
The Kona N does not seem to have direct competitors for the time being, although the larger and with 300 hp stronger Volkswagen T-Roc R, Audi SQ2 and Cupra Ateca are somewhat in its waters. We expect to see more of the Hyundai Kona N later this year.
