More than 35,000 visitors

Large car fairs such as the Geneva Motor Show and the IAA seem to be losing momentum, but the classic car fair appears to be very much alive. Classics fair InterClassics in Maastricht could count on a record number of visitors this year.
For the first time since 2020, an edition of the InterClassics classic car fair, also known as the Classic Car Show Maastricht, was held at the MECC in Maastricht between 12 and 15 January. That fair – where AutoWeek was also present – could count on a considerable influx. In fact, never before have so many people visited the classic fair. The 28th edition of InterClassics attracted 35,333 visitors.
Erik Panis, exhibition manager of Interclassics, of course indicates in a letter that he is pleased with the result. “This visitor record shows that classic cars still appeal to the imagination of a large audience. Youngtimers and supercars are also indispensable on the exhibition floor. This development ensures a rejuvenation of our target group and therefore guarantees the continuity of our event .”
Were you unable to attend this year for any reason? Don’t worry, next year there will be another InterClassics from Thursday 11 to Sunday 14 January. Just back in Maastricht.
