iOS 14 gives you more control over how your home screen looks. The update also lets you hide pages with apps. That is how it works.
iOS 14 tip: hide apps and pages on your home screen
The arrival of the App Library in iOS 14 gives you the option to save your home screen only for your favorite apps. You can delete apps from your home screen, but still leave them in your App Library. In addition, it is possible to disable entire pages of apps. You can read how to do this below.
- Long press the home screen until the app icons start to wiggle;
- Press the three dots at the bottom of your home screen;
- You will now see all pages on your home screen. Uncheck the pages you want to hide.

You can no longer swipe to the hidden pages on your home screen. Fortunately, you have not lost the apps that were on this page: you can still see them in your App library. Do you want to switch a page back on? Then follow the steps above again and tick the box for the desired pages.
Do you only want to hide individual apps on your home screen? That is also very easy. Long press the home screen again and press the minus button at the top left of an app icon to remove the app. Then tap ‘Move to App Library’. Do you want to put an app from the App library on your home screen? Long press the app and drag it to the left to place it on the home screen.
