Apple will soon bring iOS 17.1.1 to your iPhone, which fixes a number of annoying problems. This is what you need to know about the update!
Apple is working on iOS 17.1.1
A week ago, Apple released iOS 17.1. This was a major update, bringing many innovations to your iPhone. For example, AirDrop via the internet is now possible, Standby has been added more options and the Music app has been expanded. Unfortunately, the new iOS version also brought some problems to your iPhone, which Apple is now trying to solve with iOS 17.1.1.

The new iOS version will therefore probably be a minor update, which will mainly fix errors in iOS 17.1. It remains to be seen which bugs exactly are, but there are several possibilities. Since the release of iOS 17.1, users have encountered various errors. We put the problems together for you.
These issues are in iOS 17.1
iOS 17.1 is reportedly causing major problems with iPhones’ internet connection. Users have poorer mobile coverage and connection problems with WiFi. As a result, the internet often works slowly on iPhones running iOS 17.1. This bug has already been resolved in the test version of iOS 17.2, but it will still take a while before the final update appears. Apple will therefore probably solve the problem for everyone in iOS 17.1.1.
In addition, a nasty bug in iOS 17.1 causes iPhones to turn themselves off at night. This causes the iPhone to be completely turned off for a number of hours at night, without this being the intention. This problem mainly occurs if you leave the iPhone on the charger overnight. You can see in the settings of your iPhone under ‘Battery’ whether your device also suffers from this bug. This means that data regarding the phone’s battery level is missing.
New update will be released soon
These problems are so serious that Apple will probably release an interim update to fix them. It is not yet known when iOS 17.1.1 will be released, but it will probably not be long. Apple is expected to release iOS 17.2 in December, so iOS 17.1.1 will arrive next month. We can therefore most likely install iOS 17.1.1 within two or three weeks.

That is not the only interim update that Apple is releasing, because a new version of watchOS 10 is also coming. WatchOS 10.1 was released two weeks ago, but that update is now causing problems with the battery of the Apple Watch. The battery reportedly runs out far too quickly. It is therefore quite possible that Apple will soon release iOS 17.1.1 and watchOS 10.1.1 at the same time.
