Apple has brought a number of new wallpapers to your iPhone with the iOS 26.3 software update – we’ll show you where you can find them.
Here you will find the new wallpapers
Apple has created separate wallpaper categories for Astronomy and Weather in iOS 26.3. Also, there are now three new pre-designed Weather wallpapers for the Lock Screen (aka lock screen), with different fonts and widget designs. You could previously make this yourself, but now Apple has already done it for you. We show you where you can find them.
The Weather wallpaper has been around for some time and shows the live weather at your current location. In iOS 26.3, Apple has significantly adjusted the background. Weather now also has its own category, which no longer includes Astronomy. Astronomy now also has its own category. You can find the new wallpapers here:
- Open the Settings app;
- Tap ‘Wallpaper’;
- Tap ‘+Add new wallpaper’;
- Scroll until you see ‘Weather’ and choose your favorite design.
You can then adjust the wallpaper to your own wishes. This way you can change the clock, the widgets or the buttons at the bottom of the screen. Experiment to your heart’s content until you are completely satisfied!
Also on your iPad
If you have iPadOS 26.3 installed on your iPad, you can also set the new wallpapers there. That works the same way. Because of the larger screen, the Weather wallpaper probably looks a lot nicer there.
