Apple did not release a regular iPad this year. According to rumors, there will be one next year. But what are the expectations of the iPad 11?
iPad 11: these are the expectations of Apple’s cheapest tablet
This year, several Apple tablets were released. For example, the iPad Air 2024 and the iPad Pro 2024 came onto the market at the beginning of this year. And of course we cannot forget the iPad mini 7 (2024). But we have not yet seen a new regular iPad.
According to rumors, it will also no longer be used this year. The next regular iPad is scheduled for spring 2025. But what are the expectations of the iPad 11?
Apple Intelligence
The next regular iPad will most likely have support for Apple Intelligence. It is just not yet certain which chipset the tablet will have. The rumors think that this will be the A18 chip.
That means the iPad 11 can use all the new AI features. But since it is still not known when Apple Intelligence will come here, it remains to be seen when you can also use the smart functions in the Netherlands.
More upgrades
According to expectations, the iPad 11 will receive some more upgrades. The regular iPad is rumored to have support for WiFi 6E (or WiFi 7) and Bluetooth 5.3.
The corridors also say that Apple is working on a new Magic Keyboard for iPads, which is also suitable for the cheaper segment. This keyboard should then work on the iPad 11.
Some expectations also say that the iPad 11 will receive support for the Apple Pencil Pro. That would mean that the design of the iPad will be (very) slightly different.
iPad 11 release
According to Mark Gurman, the new iPad 11 will appear alongside a new iPhone SE, iPad Air and more. The Apple expert thinks that you can expect the new iPad around spring next year.
