Apple is working on a new iPad mini
Rumors predict that we can probably expect a new iPad Pro and iPad Air in 2024, both of which will have a larger screen. The iPad Pro will have a 14.1-inch display, while the iPad Air will have a 12.9-inch screen. Are you looking for an iPad with a more compact size? Then we have good news, because Apple is reportedly also working on the iPad mini 7.

It has been more than two years since Apple released the sixth generation iPad mini, which was released in September 2021. The iPad then received a new design and the fast A15 Bionic chip. Now a next generation iPad mini is coming, the first rumors of which are already circulating. You can expect these new features with the iPad mini 7.
New features with the iPad mini 7
It is expected that the iPad mini 7 will receive a major upgrade, especially under the hood. The iPad mini 6 has already received a new design, so little will probably change in the design of the next iPad mini. The seventh generation iPad mini will have the even faster A16 Bionic chip, which we previously saw in the iPhone 14 Pro (Max) and the iPhone 15 (Plus).
In addition, the camera will probably be improved on the iPad mini 7. The current iPad mini still has to make do with a 12-megapixel camera. With the next iPad mini this may be a 48-megapixel camera, as we also saw with the iPhone 15 series. Other new features for the iPad mini 7 include support for WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
This is when the tablet appears
It is expected that Apple will also find a solution for jelly scrolling, a major problem with the iPad mini 2021. This is a bug with the screen, which means that scrolling movements do not appear to be consistent across the entire screen. This gives a somewhat lopsided effect, but is (hopefully) no longer the case with the iPad mini 7. Apple has at least acknowledged the problem and indicated that it is working on a solution.

The iPad mini 7 will therefore have a number of new functions, but will probably also appear in new colors. It is not yet clear which new range of colors Apple will introduce with the next iPad mini.
