iPhone 13 release: ‘from this date you can buy the new iPhones’

A new rumor states that Apple will unveil and present the iPhone 13 series in September. The data corresponds to our expectations.

iPhone 13 release date pops up in rumor

Wedbush analyst Dan Ives (via PhoneArena) has often said things about the iPhone 13. For example, he recently stated based on his sources that the iPhone 13 will have a storage capacity of 1 terabyte, which was then contradicted by another source.

Now, Ives is back with new information, again citing anonymous sources who know more about Apple’s production of the latest iPhones. This would concern all new models: the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 13 mini.

Based on this, the analyst says that the iPhone 13 release will be announced in the third week of September. Since Apple traditionally holds its iPhone keynote on a Tuesday, this means that the new iPhones will be unveiled on September 14. The iPhone 13 pre-order will start on Friday, September 17, after which the first copies will be in stores on September 24. Specifically, this means the following:

  • iPhone 13 event: September 14
  • iPhone 13 pre-order: September the 17th
  • iPhone 13 in stores: September 24

The Netherlands has been in the first group of countries where the new iPhone appears for years. So rest assured that this will also be the case in 2021. In addition, it has often been said that the iPhone will ‘normally’ appear again in September this year, in contrast to the later release of the iPhone 12 last year.
