At Apple itself, prices remain the same throughout the year. The starting price of the iPhone 16 does not drop after a few months. This is the case with other providers, where you can often get the phone at a much lower price. For example, you now pay €779 for the iPhone 15, while Apple launched the phone for 969 euros. Similar prices are expected for the iPhone 16:

- iPhone 16 Plus: 1119 euros (device alone or subscription);
- iPhone 16 Pro: 1229 euros (device alone or subscription);
- iPhone 16 Pro Max: 1479 euros (device alone or subscription).
Best time to buy the iPhone 16
Apple is not expected to increase the price of the iPhone 16, but the phone still has a hefty price tag. Want to pay less for the phone? Then you might want to wait a little longer, because the price of the iPhone 16 is dropping according to a price analysis after four months the most. New features of the iPhone 16
The iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are mainly expected to feature new under-the-hood features. All iPhones will receive support for Apple Intelligence, which means that almost all apps will be expanded with AI features. To make this possible, all devices are equipped with a new processor. The iPhone 16 (Plus) will feature the A18 chip, the iPhone 16 Pro (Max) will get the A18 Pro chip.
Other changes expected include a redesigned camera island, action button, and increased RAM on the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.
