It seems that the iPhone 17 Pro is really worth upgrading because of a few nice functions. This is going to change.
iPhone 17 Pro is coming this year: To upgrade these functions
The last iPhones are secretly very similar. For example, if you have the iPhone 16 next to an iPhone 12, there are only a few small differences at first sight. Among other things, the lenses of the camera are a bit smaller and at the front you can see that the newer iPhone no longer has a notch.
With the iPhone 17 Pro, a little more seems to change. These are the new functions that will probably make it worth to upgrade.
New design for the camera on the back
The back of the iPhone has had about the same look since the iPhone 11 Pro. With the iPhone 17 Pro, however, something will change according to rumors. The lenses are still in the same place, but the camera island is growing and spreads throughout the entire width.
In addition, the other parts, such as the Lidar and the flashlight, go all the way to the right. According to the last rumors, the camera island will get the same color as the back of the device, in contrast to earlier rumors.
Aluminum back
The iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max have a titanium back. But rumors think that this will change with the iPhone 17 Pro. According to leaked CAD files, the back of the following Pro models consists of aluminum with a part of glass for Magsafe.
Vapor Chamber Cooling
The rumors also say that Apple is going to tinker with the cooling of the iPhone. It is thought that Apple will process a Vapor Chamber in their cooling system. You often see this type of cooling in gaming laptops, among other things. Hopefully this means that the iPhone will get hot less quickly.
Small other upgrades
The iPhone 17 Pro will also get a few other new functions why you may want to upgrade in September. That will not be major changes or things you must have, but they are nice improvements. This is a small selection of the other features that will come.

- More working memory (12 GB);
- New camera on the front of 24 megapixel;
- Televelens of 48 megapixel.
