Jaguar puts the I-Pace in black and comes with a limited variant: the Black Limited Edition. In addition, the electric predatory cat will receive additional configuration options and compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will now be available as standard.
The Black Limited Edition of the I-Pace is based on the I-Pace S. The version can be recognized by its glossy black exterior details: the side window surrounds, the grille, badges and side mirrors are painted in that colour. In addition, the Black Limited Edition has privacy glass as standard and it rolls on 20-inch five-spoke wheels. In the interior, the seats, dashboard, headliner and moldings are finished in black. Furthermore, the fixed panoramic glass roof and privacy glass are standard equipment, as well as twelve-way electrically adjustable sports seats with memory function, premium LED headlights and automatically dimming mirrors.
Jaguar I-Pace
Apart from the Black Limited Edition, the I-Pace is now also available with the ‘Premium Black Pack’. In addition to the black details on the exterior, the I-Pace in this version also has black 22-inch wheels, a rear spoiler and air suspension. Prefer a variation on all that black? Then you can opt for the newly added body color ‘Ostuni Pearl White Metallic’. All I-Paces will now come standard with the Smartphone Pack, which includes compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The wireless phone charger is still available at an additional cost. In the near future, Jaguar will add the voice assistant Amazon Alexa to the I-Pace. Alexa will also be available to current owners via an over-the-air update by then. However, Jaguar reports that the Dutch introduction date for Alexa is unknown for the time being.
The I-Pace Black Limited Edition can be ordered from €88,782, making it €5,710 more expensive than the base version I-Pace S, which is listed for €83,072. However, you do get some options that are normally only on the €91,242 I-Pace SE.
