Karma shows autonomous L4 E-Flex Van

As Karma promised, the American brand shows examples of different configurations with its new E-Flex platform. This base, for electric cars, among others, will become available for other brands and this electric autonomous van is the first example.

California Karma shows the first images of the L4 E-Flex Van. According to Karma, his E-Flex platform can be used for almost any conceivable purpose: from vans to powerful supercars. This Van confirms this. The coach of the bus suggests that it is a Fiat Ducato or one of its worldwide twin brothers. Only under the skin everything has been completely addressed by Karma with the help of external parties. The bus is not only fully electric but also autonomous (level 4).

The Karma platform can be supported by the external WeRide software. That company made it possible to drive cars completely autonomously. For this they use real-time information and radars, cameras and other means are mounted all over the car. “Using the E-Flex platform, our goal was to create partnerships that develop a wide range of applications,” said Srini Gowda of Karma. “By partnering with technology leaders such as WeRide, we aim to offer unique market solutions.” After this L4 E-Flex Van, other autonomous vehicles and supercar platforms will follow within a few months, sharing the same base to demonstrate what Karma has in house.
