KG Mobility, as SsangYong is now called, is making great strides with new models. After the Torres and the fully electric Torres EVX, we are introduced to the KR10, F100 and O100. It is still about concept cars, but that may not remain the case.

Earlier today, KG was able to tell us a little more about the electric Torres EVX, a mid-sized SUV that is also coming to Europe. In its home country of Korea, the brand is showing three more concept cars at the Seoul Motor Show, the KR10, the F100 and the O100. They don’t come as a surprise, because they were announced earlier. We didn’t have a picture then, now we do!

The KR10 is clearly a design reference to early Korandos, especially the second generation. It has round headlights similarly positioned next to the grille, assisted by horizontal indicators. The rest of the car is also nice and tough, with numerous off-road design elements and a fairly upright windscreen. A future Korando could just look like this, which would make the Korando much more striking than it is now. If the KR10 looks familiar to you, that’s not surprising: in 2021 it was already shown in sketch form.

The F100 is a larger electric SUV. It looks a bit more futuristic with its striking ‘lighting block’, but at the same time at least as tough. This also looks like a real off-roader, which is reminiscent of the Ford Bronco, Jeep Wrangler and perhaps even Hummers due to its enormous wheel arches and sturdy handles and lashing eyes.

The O100 is, in fact, known. It is a pick-up based on the production model Torres EVX. The electric pickup has a relatively short box and a long passenger cabin. The shape is therefore comparable to that of the current Musso, but with a fresh look. Given that Musso, it is not inconceivable that KG will actually take this body variant into production, with which an electric powertrain will be screwed into a pick-up for the first time at this company. All three concepts are harbingers of production models, so we keep a close eye on KG Mobility.
