Niro is the best-selling 2020 model

There is good news about the best-selling new model of 2020, the Kia Niro. This month the new versions of the e-Niro will arrive in the showroom, making this electric version cheaper to drive.
In the past year, 11,880 copies of the Kia Niro were registered for the first time. This makes the model the best-selling new car of 2020. A large part of these purchases (41.8 percent) consists of the hybrid without plug (HEV), a fraction of the plug-in hybrid variant (PHEV) and the majority of the e-Niro (54.4 percent).
Sales of this electric Kia Niro could increase even more in 2020, with the e-Niro arriving in showrooms in mid-January with the entry-level battery pack of 39.2 kWh. At the same time, Kia is expanding the line-up of the electric Niro to the entry-level levels ComfortLine, DynamicLine, DynamicPlusLine and – exclusively for the version with 64.0 kWh battery – the ExecutiveLine.
This range offers on the one hand more richly executed e-Niros. On the other hand, more affordable versions are available, in particular versions below the fiscal value of 40,000 euros. That is important for business drivers to qualify for the low addition of 12 percent this year.
