Kia Niro Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid: more expensive but more equipment for entry-level hybrid

The entry-level version of the Kia Niro with hybrid powertrain will be more expensive. The price of the Kia Niro 1.6 GDi Hybrid Comfortline goes up by €1,500, but you get more equipment in return. Furthermore, every non-fully electric Kia Niro will be €500 more expensive across the board.

The Kia Niro is available in the Netherlands with three different powertrains. It is available as a Hybrid, as a Plug-in Hybrid and as a fully electric Niro EV. The Hybrid has the least complex powertrain and is the most economical of the bunch. The starting price of the Kia Niro 1.6 GDi Hybrid – performed as a ComfortLine – was previously €32,695, but it will increase by €1,500 to €34,195. But you do get more in return, because the standard equipment has been improved.

For example, the ComfortLine previously had an 8-inch screen in the center console, but from now on you will find a 10.25-inch infotaint system with navigation, among other things. Previously this was only standard from the higher positioned DynamicLine version. The same goes for ambient lighting and the Smart Key, which goes hand in hand with the arrival of a start/stop button. You will also find that in the Niro ComfortLine from now on. The prices of all other Kia’s Niro Hybrid and those of the Niro Plug-in Hybrid will increase by €500.
