Includes Dark Edition
The Kia Sportage will be slightly more expensive, but will now offer more in standard trim than before. In addition, the Kia Sportage with mild-hybrid drivetrain is now also available with an automatic transmission and the Dutch importer is introducing a new Dark Edition version.
The starting price of the Kia Sportage will increase by €1,750. From now on, the Kia Sportage costs at least €39,995. For that amount you get the Sportage with a 150 hp mild-hybrid 1.6 T-GDI and a manual gearbox, designed as ComfortLine. This entry-level version now comes with the 12.3-inch infotainment screen with navigation and Kia Connect as standard. Rear parking sensors are also now standard. Until recently, the mild-hybrid Kia Sportage with manual gearbox was also available as a DynamicLine and a GT-Line Edition. We will no longer see those two versions in combination with this engine and manual gearbox.
More news? Certainly. The Kia Sportage with mild-hybrid 1.6 T-GDI was previously only available with a manual gearbox, but is now also available with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It is available as a new Dark Edition – which we will come back to later – and as a GT-Line. The Kia Sportage is also available as a Hybrid and as a Plug-in hybrid. Just like the Plug-in Hybrid, the front-wheel drive Hybrid is available as Dynamic Line, DynamicPlusLine, GT-Line, GT-PlusLine and as a new Dark Edition. The Kia’s Sportage Hybrid will be €1,200 more expensive than before, the prices of the Sportage Plus-in Hybrid will increase by €200.
