Lamborghini Squadra Corse has presented a new racing version of the Lamborghini Huracán. The new rip nose goes by the name Huracán Super Trofeo Evo2 and according to its creators is the fastest Huracán specially developed for racing.
Lamborghini Squadra Corse, Lamborghini’s racing department, has renewed the Hurcán Super Trofeo. In September 2017, that racing branch already showed the first revised version of the Huracán circuit and now that non-road variant has been modernized for the second time. The Huracán Super Trofeo Evo2 has to cut through the air just a bit more efficiently than its predecessor. Lamborghini Squadra Corse says that it has mainly paid attention to aerodynamics. But there’s more. According to Lamborghini, the exuberant design of this Huracán Super Trofeo Evo2 gives away to some extent certain design elements of future models of the brand.

From the outside, the Huracán Super Trofeo Evo2 looks significantly different from its predecessor. In particular, the lighting at both the front and rear are completely new. The headlights are flatter and wider and are accompanied by black finishes as we more or less saw on the Sián models. The rear lights consist of two horizontal LED strips. The design of the sheet metal around it evokes connotations with the buttocks of the Countach.
Almost all body parts that were not yet made of carbon fiber are now. Lamborghini has further improved braking, but stays further away from the drivetrain. The Evo2 has a 620 hp 5.2 V10 behind the front seats, a machine linked to a sequential six-speed gearbox that sends power to the rear wheels.
The basic starting price of this racing Huracán is set at € 250,000.
