Lancia shows concept car under canvas in Metaverse

Lancia will probably show its new concept car somewhat in a virtual world. The car is still under a cloth, but – if it is correct – it already releases a silhouette.

Lancia is participating in the Metaverse Fashion Week 2023. That is probably all very interesting for those who like to walk through the virtual world of Decentraland, but we prefer to stick to the real world for now. The first Lancia concept car in years will be presented there on April 15, a car that seems to be called ‘Emozione Pu+Ra’.

That is the car that still manages to arouse our interest in the aforementioned Fasion Week, because Lancia parks it there in the showroom. Until April 15, it will of course still be there under a cloth, but we still think we can say something about the concept car. For example, the car has a fairly long nose and a short, far-back cabin, followed by what appears to be a traditional saloon-style butt. This makes the car more similar to a Fulvia, Flaminia or Gamma coupe than to the Stratos that the rear light shown earlier suggests. A more GT-like car, and that secretly fits luxury brand Lancia.

The digital showroom in which this newcomer is located is also interesting in itself. According to Lancia, it is inspired by the physical copy in Milan and serves as a blueprint for the showrooms that are to be built in 70 different European cities. That should all happen in 2024, with the Lancia outlets being combined with those of other Stellantis brands. So no huge showrooms, but probably more of a premium corner of an existing one. But at least ‘real’.
