Larger mouse pointer on Mac

Do you often lose the arrow on the screen? Set this so-called mouse pointer to display larger and you no longer have to search.

To avoid having to keep looking for the mouse pointer or cursor, you can easily make it larger. Here’s how to do this on a Mac running macOS 10.12 Sierra or later:

  • Click the Apple logo in the top left.
  • click on System Preferences.
  • click on Accessibility.
  • Click on the menu on the left Display. In macOS 10.15 Catalina then click Cursor.
  • Right click on the white slider behind ‘Cursor size’, hold down the mouse button and move to the right.
  • The mouse pointer magnifies immediately. Release the mouse button once the mouse pointer is the correct size.
  • Don’t like the size? Move the slider again to the left or further to the right.
  • Click on the circle with a cross at the top left to close the screen.

The new mouse pointer size is set.
