Largest electric Citroën ë-Berlingo cheaper

Just as the Peugeot Partner is the passenger car version of the Rifter, the Citroën Berlingo is the passenger car variant of the Berlingo Van. The passenger car versions of those vans, in contrast to the commercial vehicle versions, are now only available with an electric powertrain. The electric Citroën ë-Berlingo, like its delivery brother, is available in two sizes. The largest of the bunch is becoming cheaper thanks to the arrival of a new version.

The Citroën ë-Berlingo price list starts at €41,741 for the 4.4-metre-long M variant of the practical family car. In that case you get the basic Live version, although it has also been available as Feel for a while. The 4.75 meter long XL version of the ë-Berlingo was until now only available from the Feel trim level, but the larger Citroën is now also available as Live. With a starting price of €42,735, it is several thousand euros less expensive than the ë-Berlingo XL in Feel trim, for which you have to pay €45,397.

The Citroën ë-Berlingo XL is 35 centimeters longer than the M version and also has a longer wheelbase. After all, the distance between the front and rear axle is 2.79 meters in the M version and 2.98 meters in the XL version. Both the M and XL flavors are available in five- and seven-seater versions. Regardless of the chosen version, you get a 136 hp electric motor and a 50 kWh battery.

The ë-Berlingo not only has a Peugeot brother within Stellantis, Fiat and Opel also supply it in the form of the Doblò and Combo versions. You will also find a sister model outside Stellantis, namely at Toyota. After all, Toyota offers its own versions of the model with the ProAce City (Electric) and ProAce City Verso (Electric).
