Lexus LBX is coming: the cheapest Lexus?

Big news is coming at Lexus. On Monday, June 5, the Japanese will pull the curtain off the Lexus LBX. A long-legged model of which we are now presented with two first teaser plates. On the first we see part of the nose of the Lexus LBX. If the Lexus logo had not been stuck on it, we would have understood that you would not have immediately recognized a Lexus in it. The Lexus LBX clearly has a slightly different face than we are used to from the brand. The LBX carries Lexus’ new family face, which we already saw on numerous mysterious newcomers at the end of 2021.

Lexus LBX? Among those newcomers was also a compact SUV and, judging by the new teaser photos, that is probably the LBX. In the photo above you can see the car in its entirety and you can see how compact the car is. It seems to be Lexus’ smallest model and we described this car at the time as a successor to the Lexus CT. Lexus itself already hinted at this in 2019. In terms of size, the LBX, which may be called Lexus BX, is probably comparable to the Toyota Corolla Cross. Count on hybrid power for the newcomer, which is almost certainly on the TNGA platform.
