Lexus has the LC up to the light. Both the LC Coupé and LC Convertible have been finely ground on a level of detail. In addition, Lexus proposes the Bespoke Build program with which the LCs can be personalized down to the smallest detail.
Lexus gives the LC an annual model year update and, like last year’s, the latest grinding session involves a series of adjustments to the chassis. Lexus says it has modified the suspension both front and rear, resulting in a more direct steering feel and improved handling. Also new is the so-called shift-locksystem to prevent the LCs from being set in D or R inadvertently.
Furthermore, there is now the personalization program ‘Bespoke Build’ with which you can build the LC down to the smallest detail. In the Bespoke Build catalog you will find special wheels, aerodynamic extras, special paint colors, materials to finish the interior with and even a carbon fiber roof for the Lexus LC CoupĂ©.
There are no major engine changes, which means that the Lexus LC Coupé and LC Convertible will remain available as a 359 hp LC 500h and as a 464 hp and 540 Nm LC 500. The hybrid LCs have a 3.5 V6 in the front, while the h -less 500s have a mighty 5.0 V8 as a powerplant.
The tightened LCs will be in the Netherlands from the spring of 2022. Prices will follow in the run-up to the market launch.
