Lexus LC: sporty flagship up to €10,000 more expensive

More than seven years after its introduction, the Lexus LC is still very much alive. The luxurious flagship of Lexus is also still available in the Netherlands, but is entering its final phase of life with higher prices.

The hybrid Lexus LC 500h Coupé is still for €140,850 in the Dutch order books, but will cost €150,850 from August. Indeed, we are talking about a $10,000 price increase. As before, the hybrid Lexus LC has a 299 hp 3.5 V6 that, together with an electric motor of 179 hp, is good for a system power of 359 hp. You can reach 100 km/h in 5 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km/h.

The LC is not only available as a hybrid 500h, but also with a mighty eight-cylinder. The Lexus LC 500 – without -h – has a 464 hp and 540 Nm strong 5.0 V8 that sends its power to the rear wheels via a ten-speed automatic transmission. The Lexus LC 500 stomps to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds. Its top speed is 270 km/h. Like the LC 500h, the LC 500 will also be more expensive. The starting price of the Lexus LC 500 Coupé will also increase by €10,000 and will be €193,995 as of August.

Just like before, the Lexus LC is also available as an open Convertible. The Lexus LC Convertible is only available as an LC 500. So with an eight-cylinder. It was previously in the order books from €218,695, but will cost €222,695 as of August, which is four grand more than before.

The special Obsidian Editions will continue to exist, but will also increase in price. The Lexus LC 500h Coupé costs as Obsidian Edition will be eight grand more expensive and will cost €160,850. The LC 500 Coupé Obsidian Edition will also be €8,000 more expensive and will be in the Dutch order books from €203,995. The open LC 500 is also available as an Obsidian Edition. It will be 4 mille more expensive and will soon cost €227,695.

Although you spend more money on an LC, you get a little more in return. The LC 500 and LC 500h of the new model year have been finely ground in various areas, are now standard on 21-inch light metal and have a refreshed interior with a new infotainment system. The trackpad that you previously found in the center tunnel has gone to heaven.
