Line-up of the iPhone in 2026: you can expect these iPhones
Apple has many new products planned this year. You should think of new MacBooks, iPads and iPhones. According to rumors, four new iPhones will be released this year. But these probably aren’t the four iPhones you think.
iPhone 17e
According to rumors, the first iPhone will be available in one or two months. This will be the iPhone 17e (and the successor to the iPhone 16e). According to these rumors, the iPhone 17e will receive a few interesting upgrades. You should then think about:
- A19 chip;
- Dynamic Island;
- Center Stage selfie camera;
- Thinner screen edges;
- Support MagSafe.
But not everything gets an upgrade. The iPhone 17e still only has one camera on the back. In addition, no ProMotion or always-on display is expected. The Camera controller will probably also be omitted from this device.
The price is expected to be the same as the iPhone 16e. This means that the iPhone 17e will have a price tag of 719 euros.
iPhone 18 Pro (Max)
The next iPhones from the line-up will be ready later in 2026 (sometime in September). The iPhone 18 Pro and the iPhone 18 Pro Max will then appear. According to rumors, you can expect the following improvements with these devices:
- Even bigger battery;
- The new A20 Pro chip;
- A smaller Dynamic Island;
- Face ID under the screen;
- Variable aperture camera;
- A new C2 modem.
Big, shocking changes don’t seem to be coming this year either…
iPhone Fold
After years of hearing various rumors, it seems that the time has finally come. Apple’s first foldable iPhone is reportedly coming this fall.
The iPhone Fold (or perhaps iPhone Ultra) will reportedly have a hefty price tag. The device will probably cost $2,000 or more. But in Europe you will probably pay even more.
In terms of appearance, this iPhone resembles a double iPhone Air, with a titanium housing. The screen on the inside is approximately 7.6 inches. The screen on the outside is about 5.4 inches. You open the device like a kind of book. According to rumors, if you open the screen, you will not see a crease or crease in the screen.
The battery also promises to be impressive. The iPhone Fold will reportedly have the largest iPhone battery ever. Whether this automatically produces the best battery life in practice remains to be seen. Because two of the screens also require more energy.
Under the hood is the same A20 Pro chip as in the iPhone 18 Pro. In terms of cameras, according to rumors you can count on two cameras on the back and two selfie cameras (one for each screen). According to rumors, there will be no Face ID on the iPhone Fold, but Apple will opt for Touch ID.
And the iPhone 18?
According to rumors, the iPhone 18 will only come later. The new iPhone 18 (and probably the iPhone 18e) will be available sometime in early 2027. Perhaps we will also see the iPhone Air 2 then.
