If you walk away from the computer for a while, it would be a good idea to lock the screen.
Screen locked?
Locking the screen means that the lock screen will appear, usually a nice photo with the date and time on it. After pressing the space bar, the user can log in to the computer again, for example with his password.
What’s useful about this? If you are doing privacy-sensitive things on the computer, and you don’t want someone to see that when you go to the toilet. Or if it’s busy in the house and you don’t want someone else to sit at the PC and do their own things.
Lock with the keyboard
Not many actions are required to lock the screen. It is enough to use the shortcut Windows+L. So first press the key with the Windows flag on the keyboard and then the letter L, while keeping the Windows key pressed. This key is usually located in the lower left corner between Ctrl and Alt.
Back at the PC, press the spacebar and the login screen will appear.
