Los Angeles International Auto Show postponed

The Los Angeles International Auto Show is no longer taking place this year, it seems. The auto show will be postponed to the spring of 2021.

This year it is raining shifts or cancellations of car shows. The reason is obvious: the corona virus. The latest ‘victim’ is the Los Angeles International Auto Show. According to the generally knowledgeable Automotive News the show will not take place on the scheduled dates of November 20-29. According to insiders, 21 to 31 May next year will be the new place on the calendar.

That the auto show is being postponed is of course no big surprise. It is a pity; the LA Auto Show is good for a lot of news every year towards the end of the year. Last year we were introduced to the Mercedes-AMG GLS, the Hyundai Vision T Concept and the Volkswagen ID. Space Vizzion.

With the shift to the spring of 2021, the question is how much exclusive news will be shown at that fair. After all, it will be quite crowded during that period. The shows in New York (NYIAS) and the NAIAS in Detroit will also take place around the same time according to current plans. New York kicks off in early April, followed by LA in May and Detroit at the end of June.
