Up to 480 kW
Lotus is launching its own fast charging network, also here in Europe. There will be charging stations where you can top up with an unprecedented charging capacity.
With the exception of the Emira, Lotus has a fully electric model range, which is constantly being expanded. After the Lotus Evija and Eletre, the Lotus Emeya appeared and the EV party does not end there for the time being. The Eletre and Emeya can be charged very quickly on paper, provided of course you can find a suitable charger for them. Lotus will soon respond to this by installing its own fast chargers.
Lotus fast chargers will soon be installed in various places worldwide (including here in Europe). How much exactly is not yet entirely clear. It is already clear that these will be quite advanced charging stations. Lotus talks about DC chargers with a charging capacity of no less than 450 kW to even 480 kW. For example, that far exceeds the charging capacity of Tesla’s V4 Superchargers.
The Lotus Eletre can fast charge up to 350 kW, so you cannot yet test the maximum charging capacity of the station with a Lotus, but the charging stations are in any case ready for more in the future. In five minutes, the Eletre with 350 kW charging capacity gives you an additional 142 km of driving range.
