Lotus is expanding to more European markets

Lotus is making good progress and is busy building up a dealer network here in the Netherlands. This means we are an early start here as a ‘Lotus country’, but more European countries will follow soon.

Under the wings of the enormous and wealthy Geely group, the British Lotus must grow into a bigger brand than it has ever been. This ambition goes hand in hand with the arrival of a series of new electric models, including the recently presented Lotus Emeya. To market the new models, Lotus also wants to physically establish itself in many countries and is already setting up dealerships here in the Netherlands. The Netherlands is one of the first European markets where Lotus prints its name on the facade of various buildings. More will follow soon.

Lotus now announces that it will soon expand to Luxembourg, Denmark and Austria. This expansion is part of the ambition to almost double the total number of Lotus dealers in Europe by 2025. There were 67 Lotus ‘stores’ in Europe at the end of June of this year and there should already be 105 by ’25. In addition to the Netherlands, there are already dealers in Belgium, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Norway and Sweden. In the Netherlands you can go to Houten at a dedicated Lotus dealer and Hedin Automotive will become Lotus dealer in Amstelveen, Veghel and Rotterdam. Van der Kooi Sportcars has been appointed as the official service partner.
