Lotus Eletre in showroom this month

Lotus has been making major strides recently and we are also noticing this in the Netherlands. There will be four Lotus dealers here, the first three will open their doors this month.
Lotus is making considerable headway under the wings of the Chinese Geely. In recent years we have become acquainted with the impressive electric Evija, the last Lotus with fuel engines to be delivered with Emira and of course the electric SUV Eletre. It doesn’t stop there, because there is another sedan-like Lotus in the pipeline and an electric supercar. The hope is that the new model family will be well received, also here in the Netherlands. To reach Dutch customers, Lotus is opening four branches in our country.
The first and most special location is the Lotus dealer in Houten, shown above. That will be one dedicated Lotus dealer that is not part of another dealer company. In addition, Hedin Automotive will become a Lotus dealer in Amstelveen, Veghel and, in due course, Rotterdam. The Lotus dealer in Houten opens its doors on June 29. Hedin Automotive in Amstelveen and Veghel also starts this month with the British sports car manufacturer. The opening of the Dutch dealerships coincides with the Dutch market introduction of the Lotus Eletre. It gets a slightly higher starting price at €98,690. That is a mille more than was communicated last year.
Van der Kooi Sportcars has been appointed as Lotus’ official service partner for maintenance and repairs. Not a bad choice, since Van der Kooi Sportcars has been associated with the brand as an importer for many years.
