Lucid Motors promised earlier that his Lucid Air will take production form in April. That means that the time of teasers has definitely arrived. Today we take a first look at the final design.
That is not very exciting, because the end product looks like two drops of water on the previously shown harbinger. This keeps the continuous LED bar, just like the battery, larger LEDs that serve as low and high beam underneath. The vertically placed chrome strips on either side of the bumper also seem to survive. In the teaser movie the entire carriage can be seen briefly. It retains its striking shape, with the greenhouse accounting for a significant part of the length of the car. The C-pillars end in a brushed aluminum plate, on which the model name of the car can be read in chic writing.
The Lucid Air is a super-fast electric sedan that must combine a spacious and luxurious interior with an impressive range. The final design will most likely be presented at the New York International Auto Show, which will open its doors on 10 April.
