Meet the Lynk & C0 06, an SUV with the new family face of the brand. The updated Lynk & Co 06 is a size smaller than the 01 that you can also buy in the Netherlands.
In Europe, Lynk & Co only offers the 01. The more than 4.5 meter long Lynk & Co 01 is always a plug-in hybrid, so there is not much to choose from in the European branch of the brand when it comes to powertrains. However, in its home country China, Lynk & Co’s offering is much larger. It sells the 02, the 03, the 05, the 06, the 08 and the 09. The 08 is the most recent addition to the range. That car introduced the new family face of the brand and that now trickles down to the smaller Lynk & Co 06.

The Lynk & Co 06 has been around since 2020. With a length of 4.34 meters, the model is 17 centimeters shorter than the 01 that you know in Europe. Although the name of the car suggests that it is positioned above the 01, that is not the case. Three years after its market introduction, Lynk & Co puts the 06 on the cutting table. The car climbs back from there with a completely new front, a revised bottom and a completely new interior. Nothing changes about the platform of the Lynk & Co 06 and so it is again the cheaper BMA basis that Geely also uses for the Binyue and not the CMA platform that you know from the Lynk & Co 01 and the Volvo XC40.

The front of the Lynk & Co 06 is completely in line with that of the 08, so this smaller SUV also has the more angular and vertical LED daytime running lights in its nose, with the actual headlights one floor below. The fact that the facelift that Lynk & Co is carrying out on the 06 goes quite far is evident from the hood and the front and rear screens. They are also completely new and that is certainly not self-evident with a facelift. The rear of the 06 has also been completely redesigned. Lynk & Co also uses the brush of innovation in the 06. The entire interior is new. With its large and optically floating infotainment screen in front of the dashboard, subtly covered digital instruments and new steering wheel, it looks much more up-to-date than that of the 01. Lynk & Co Benelux previously stated to AutoWeek that the 08 will not come to Europe and we do not expect this 06 here either. After all, the pre-facelift version was never available here. We do expect that the new Lynk & Co design will also trickle down to the 01 in the long term.
