Apple has announced a new generation of the MacBook Air! The MacBook Air 2025 is equipped with a new processor, because the laptop runs on the M4 chip. Apple has made a striking choice, the starting prices of the MacBook Air were reduced in 2025. This makes this generation of the MacBook Air cheaper than the MacBook Air 2024. These are the official prices of the MacBook Air 2025:
MacBook Air 13 inch:
- 256 GB (16 GB RAM): 1199 euros
- 512 GB (16 GB RAM): 1449 euros
- 512 GB (24 GB RAM): 1699 euros
MacBook Air 15 inch:
- 256 GB (16 GB RAM): 1499 euros
- 512 GB (16 GB RAM: 1749 euros
- 512 GB (24 GB RAM): 1999 euros
Where the MacBook Air 2024 was marketed for 1299 euros, that is one hundred euros less at the MacBook Air 2025. All changes
Apple has implemented several changes at the MacBook Air 2025. The laptop runs on the M4 chip, which we saw earlier in the MacBook Pro 2024 and the iPad Pro 2024. With this processor, the new version of the MacBook Air 2025 is approximately twenty to thirty percent faster than the MacBook Air from 2024. At the laptop you can continue to choose between 16 GB, 24 GB or even 32 GB of memory, so that the toughest tasks are processed effortlessly.
Do you regularly have video calls? That is better with the MacBook Air 2025, because the laptop has a 12-megapixel camera with center for the first time (Center Stage). With this function, the camera center the image, so that you are always displayed in the middle of the screen. The camera has therefore had a major update, because the MacBook Air 2024 still had to do with a 1080p Facetime HD camera, which is about 2 megapixels.
Release of the MacBook Air 2025
The MacBook Air 2025 has been released in a new color, because you can opt for a sky -blue version for the first time. The other options are silver, star light and midnight. With the MacBook Air 2025 you have the choice between 13 or a 15-inch screen. There are no other differences between these options, they both have two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a Magsafe 3-charging gate and have support for two external displays.
