MAN has presented a new variant of its electric commercial vehicle. The eTGE is now also available as a chassis cab with a closed body.
MAN introduced the TGE to the world in 2017, in fact a Volkswagen Crafter that MAN has poured its own sauce on it. Just like the Crafter, the TGE also got an electric version at a later stage, the eTGE. We already know the eTGE as a box van, but will also be available as a chassis cab with a large box body in early 2021.
For the development of the eTGE with a container, MAN has engaged the German body builder Spier. The body of the eTGE has a volume of 13.5 cubic meters and is 2 meters high. The cargo box itself has rear doors and a folding staircase. The MAN eTGE has a range of about 120 kilometers. The electric motor is, just like in the other eTGEs, good for 136 hp and 290 Nm. Prices are not there yet.
