MAN TGE

The MAN TGE is undergoing a similar refresh as the largely identical Volkswagen Crafter recently. This means, among other things, that there is new infotainment.

More than a month ago, Volkswagen introduced the updated Crafter and so it was a matter of time before the MAN TGE was also due. Now the time has come. Just like in the Crafter, you will now find a spacious 10 or 12.9-inch infotainment screen in the MAN TGE, on which Android Auto and Apple Carplay can also be called up. Another new feature is that on versions with automatic transmission, the drive selector lever is now located on the steering column. This frees up space for a cup holder on the dashboard where the lever would normally be. The safety systems have also been examined and the soon-to-be mandatory array of systems (including intelligent speed assistance and emergency braking assistant) are included.

MAN is scrapping the entry-level version of the TGE, with the 102 hp 2.0 turbo diesel in the nose. From now on it starts with the 140 hp version. A 163 hp and 177 hp version are also available. Prices are not available yet. Count on similar innovation for the electric MAN eTGE.
