Maserati is proud of its racing history. Previously, the brand with the trident already presented a tribute to Juan Manuel Fangio with a special edition of the Ghibli and Levante, now the brand is adding the Quattroporte in addition to those two models for a new special: the MC Edition.

The MC Edition is only reserved for the most powerful Trofeo versions of the Ghibli, Levante and Quattroporte. Under the hood of an MC Edition there is always a blown 4.0 V8 with 580 hp. For the MC Edition, Maserati takes two colors from the paint machine: ‘Giallo Corse’ and the matte color ‘Blu Vittoria’. Despite its name, the latter color tends more towards gray. These shades were not chosen by chance, because yellow and blue are the colors of the home and cradle of Maserati: the city of Modena.

In addition to these unique colors, the MC Editions have glossy black accents on the outside and a special emblem on the front wings and the B-pillar. The Levante MC Edition rolls on shiny black 22-inch wheels, the Ghibli and Quattroporte have to make do with 21-inch copies. In the interior, the MC Edition is immediately recognizable by the special seats, which are made of a combination of black leather and denim fabric on the seats. The ‘MC Edition’ logo is punched into the headrests. The yellow and blue stitching on the seats and dashboard also reflects the city colors of Modena in the interior of the special edition. The moldings on the dashboard and the doors connect well with blue carbon fiber.

On top of these looks, the MC Editions get an electric sunroof, Bowers & Wilkins audio and the Driver Assistance package as standard. The MC Editions of the Ghibli, Levante and Quattroporte will be available from February 2022. The prices of the MC Editions are unknown, but the Ghibli, Levante and Quattroporte Trofeo in their regular gear already have a starting price of €202,428, €240,506 and €236,199 respectively. So add a few euros to that.
