From the beginning of next month, the slightly updated Mazda CX-5 will be on showrooms. In a nutshell: CO2 emissions are reduced while the standard version is more richly equipped.
This is not yet a facelift, but a less drastic model year update. Nevertheless, it is certainly interesting, because the manual version of the Skyactiv-G 165 now emits less CO2. Due to cylinder shutdown, the emission has decreased by 12 grams. Now the CX-5 emits 134 g / km.
In addition, the standard equipment was examined. It is extra richly decorated with 19-inch alloy wheels (on the petrol versions), 8-inch display and LED interior lighting. In addition, Mazda has worked on better sound insulation and the CX-5 has a newly designed key. In addition, the color palette is supplemented with “Polymetal Gray”, a sliding roof has been optionally added to the price list of the Skyactiv-G 165 Luxury and Mazda has a new promotional model: the Style Selected.
In addition to the Skyactiv-G 165, the engine list still contains the 194 hp petrol engine and the two diesels with 150 or 184 hp. The new base price is € 36,390. That is a total of five tens less than before.
