You would think that a more than a € 1 million and 800 hp strong lightweight hypercar from McLaren would be fine in terms of power, but not everyone agrees. Tuner Novitec deems it necessary to give the limited – and already sold-out – Senna a power cure.
Senna, presented in 2017, is an extreme ripped nose that was completely focused on setting very fast lap times. The 1,350-kilo hypercar received from McLaren an 800 hp and 880 Nm strong version of the well-known 4.0-liter V8 behind the front seats, a twin-turbo machine that counts the extremist named after Ayrton Senna in 2.8. at a speed of 100 km / h. If you had 6.8 counts of patience, the speedometer of the Senna was at 200 km / h and a crazy speed of 300 km / h could be reached from a standstill in 17.5 seconds. Apparently Novitec is not that impressed.
Tuner Novitec has come up with three power modules, software that increases the power of the 4.0 V8 in the most severe case to 902 hp and 888 Nm of torque. The Senna achieves a speed of 100 km / h in 6.7 just that much faster than the standard version. On the 0-200 sprint, Novitec’s variant wins 0.3 count over a regular Senna. The top speed is set at 335 km / h. For those who like 902 hp a little too much, Novitec also has modules available that increase the power of the Senna to 855 hp and 888 hp. The most powerful variant comes as standard in combination with a lightweight exhaust system with two exhaust tailpipes, each with a diameter of 9.5 centimeters. The Senna has three exhaust tailpipes at the top of its buttocks as standard, the two pipes were until now reserved for the Senna GTR.
Although Novitec does not burn its hands on adjusting the aerodynamics of the Senna, the company has turned to Vossen for alloy that has a diameter of 20-inches and a size of 21-inches behind. Pirelli P-Zero tires are folded around the special alloy.
