Do you have problems with CarPlay’s connection? This is the cause

New research has discovered the cause behind problems with CarPay connection. That’s how it is!

Connection problems CarPlay

Do you regularly have problems with CarPlay’s connection? In that case, recent research may have found the cause of this. Axios has done research into places, where many user connection problems experience with CarPlay. There have been interesting findings from this research, because there are several places where almost all users have no temporary connection to CarPlay.

Where problems with CarPlay connection are usually caused by a defective cable or dusty charging port of the iPhone, the cause of problems with the wireless connection is more difficult to find out. Axios has therefore investigated a number of places, where users often suffer from carPay problems. According to the research, these are caused by a radio interference, disrupting the wireless connection of CarPlay.

Disruptions in the signal

A number of places in Boston were looked at for the Axios examination. In these places the connection of CarPlay falls away with many users, without a clear cause. That cause has been obsolete by the researchers, because these are all places with interference of radio signals. These ensure that the wireless connection with CarPlay is temporarily lost, the same applies to the connection with Android Auto.

CarPlay needs the connection with your iPhone to, for example, load the GPS navigation on the screen. If this connection is disturbed by too many radio signals, the navigation or even CarPlay is completely gone. These disturbances are caused by masts or antennas, and are mainly found on the 2.4GHz network. According to Axios, this causes problems with CarPay connection in a number of places.

More about CarPlay

Axios calls these ports ‘dead zones’, where radio interference causes connection problems in CarPlay. According to the researchers, there is a good chance that these types of zones will also appear in other cities. Do you regularly have problems with CarPay’s wireless connection? In that case this is a possible cause, especially if the operating system does work properly at all other times.

For the time being there is no solution to the problems that play a role in the connection with CarPlay. Yet it is good to know that the cause is possible in disruption by radio signals. That way you don’t have to look any further for possible causes, although of course it remains annoying if CarPlay fails in a number of fixed places.
