Mercedes-AMG E 53 Cabriolet with Maybach aspirations

The German Hofele Design draws the digital canvas of what should have been the hit of the Geneva Motor Show: the unique Mercedes-AMG E 53 Cabriolet by Hofele.

Shortly after the canceled Geneva Motor Show, auto-adjuster Hofele Design introduced the world to a specially designed Mercedes-Benz EQC. The company is now taking the E 53 AMG Cabriolet by Hofele to the stage, a one-off that was to be the showpiece of Hofele Design in Geneva.

The openwork E-class is dressed in a similar way to the remarkable EQC that Hofele Design presented last month. This means that the E-class is also topped with an opulent-looking sauce that gives the convertible an almost Maybach-like appearance. Our unique E-class is painted Royal Peacock Blue and is decorated by Hofele with, among other things, shiny black and chrome-colored trim parts in the bumper work. The E 53 AMG Cabriolet gets a different grille, complete with the Hofele logo, and stands on special 21-inch wheels with a turbine-like design. Hofele Design sticks a chrome strip lengthwise over the hood and the tailgate also appears to be the place for such a shiny strip. Because ‘more chrome’ seems to be better according to the philosophy of Hofele Design, the flank is also provided with a chrome-colored ornament.

The interior is covered with beautifully stitched nappa leather than in the colors Magnolia and Royal Blue. Hofele Design folds leather over the top of the dashboard and the door panels have not been forgotten during the Hofele metamorphosis.

The drivetrain is not tinkered with, which means that this special Mercedes-AMG E 53 Cabriolet ‘just’ has the 435 hp 3.0-liter six-cylinder that the homeless E in about 4.5 seconds at a speed of 100 km / h helps.

Who has already pulled his wallet to order the remarkable creation of Hofele Design, must act quickly. It remains with this one copy, a unique model with a price tag of € 168,929.
