The Mercedes-AMG GT is about to enter its second chapter. The brand new sports coupe is expected to be unveiled later today or next night.
The Monterey Car Week is in full swing and now the eyes are on Mercedes-AMG, among others. That is what pulls the curtain off the Mercedes-AMG GT on August 17. You read that right, today. However, we are dealing with a significant time difference, so you can count on us not until tonight or next night Dutch time to see the new AMG GT. Mercedes-AMG is in any case kind enough to share some teaser photos before then, although, as is often the case, we do not learn much from them.
In any case, in the photo above we already see an aspect of the new Mercedes-AMG GT that many fans will be happy with. The beating heart is just another biturbo V8. Not entirely surprising, because the new AMG GT is, in short, the coupé version of the Mercedes-AMG SL presented at the end of 2021. Whether the AMG GT will also be a 2+2? Who knows. In any case, count on a car clearly recognizable as an AMG GT in terms of appearance, although it is logically a bit bigger than the first.
