Mercedes-Benz C-Class L unveiled in China

The brand-new Mercedes-Benz C-Class has been given a few centimeters in length especially for the Chinese market. However, that is not the only news for the C-Class L.

Traditionally, the Mercedes C-class is a model that Mercedes-Benz sells large numbers of in China. The fact that the brand-new fifth generation of the C-Class is now available is therefore good news for the Chinese consumer. Yet in China they often want just a little more and we mainly mean car length. Mercedes is now responding to this with the C-class L.

At 2.95 m, the wheelbase of the Mercedes-Benz C-class L is almost 9 centimeters longer than that of the regular C-class. In total, it is more than 4.88 meters long and that is even 13 centimeters more. Of course, that extra length is mainly reflected in the increased legroom in the rear. Those who take a seat in the C-Class L will not only have a more luxurious experience thanks to the larger space. More comfortable seats with extra soft headrests, improved sound insulation, a large center armrest with storage space, cup holders and USB ports contribute to this.

In terms of appearance, the C-Class L is not only distinguished by the longer rear doors of the standard C-Class by a chrome-plated trim element on the C-pillar. More striking, however, is the classic grille that is on the order list. You can see it in photo 4. On that version, the logo is also just as a bonnet ornament on the nose. Tasty, right?
