Welcome EQE 300 and AMG 53 4Matic
Mercedes-Benz is introducing a new engine version for the electric EQE SUV in the Netherlands. Previously, the EQE SUV adventure started with the 350+. This now includes the EQE SUV 300. But there is more, much more! AutoWeek can report this before Mercedes-Benz itself pays attention to it.
The price list of the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV started with the EQE 350+, a version with a 96 kWh battery pack and a 292 hp electric motor on the rear axle. This now includes a new, less powerful drivetrain that takes over the entry-level role of the EQE 350+. The Mercedes-Benz EQE can now also be ordered as a 300. The EQE SUV 300 has the 90.56 kWh battery and a 245 hp and 550 Nm strong electric motor. This combination gives the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV 300 a range of up to 578 kilometers. The EQE SUV reaches a speed of 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds with this basic engine. It is available as a Business Edition from €83,480. It will also be available as a Sport Edition.
But there’s more. The Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ with 292 hp and 96 kWh battery will continue to exist, but that variant will now be joined by a 350 without a + after its name. It has the 90.56 kWh battery and, unlike the 350+, which is available both with and without 4Matic all-wheel drive, always has four-wheel drive. The EQE 350 4Matic is available as a Business Edition from €88,925 and, like the EQE SUV 300 and 350+, is also available as a Sport Edition.
Is the news cake of the EQE SUV eaten? No. We can now also tell you what the EQE SUV 53 4Matic should cost. The 53 4Matic, with its 625 hp, is even more powerful than the already available 43 4Matic, which produces 476 hp. The Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV 53 4Matic costs at least €149,788, making it about 19 grand more expensive than the 43 4Matic.
Furthermore, for all existing versions of the EQE’s SUV, the Business Line has been replaced by the Business Edition and the AMG Lines have been replaced by the Sport Edition.
