Mini review: Black Unity 2025 Woven sports band
There are already a lot of bands for the Apple Watch and there are often new ones. In addition to the regular bands, Apple also regularly releases special versions, including the Pride band and the Black Unity band.
A 2025 version has now been published by the Black Unity band. The Black Unity collection from Apple has been around for five years and supports organizations that are committed to ethnic equality and justice. The colors of the Pan African flag are used in the strap: red, green and black.
This is the Black Unity 2025 woven sports band in short:

You can easily do the strap, but it is not as easy to do as, for example, a silicone sports band. Do you have somewhat thicker wrists? Then you have to open the strap pretty far to put your hand through it. After that it is always a look at how tight you have to pull the strap so that it is comfortable.
You fix the strap using the strips of Velcro at the bottom. This allows the strap to be thoroughly adjusted and that is nice. This also makes it easy to use for small wrists.
There are of course also some disadvantages to these types of straps. A silicone strap is fairly easy to clean (and to keep it). However, the woven Black Unity 2025 sports band is made of nylon and that absorbs moisture. So if you often start exercising fanatically, you have to take that into account. The strap is also a bit more difficult to clean than a silicone version.
The connections of the strap are black. As a result, the woven sports band from Black Unity 2025 fits best on a black cupboard. An Apple Watch Ultra 2 (in black) or a regular black iPhone series 10 would be the best for that.
Conclusion: Review Black Unity 2025 woven sports band
Apple’s woven sports band is available in all shapes and colors. The Black Unity 2025 version is a very nice variant of this. But apart from the color and charity, this band is of course the same as any other woven sports band from Apple.
Just like any other woven sports band, this variant is perfectly on your wrist. You can thoroughly adjust the strap, but it remains a bit more difficult to put it around and off than, for example, a silicone strap. You should also not forget that this strap absorbs moisture a little easier than a silicone strap.
