Xiaomi comes with a new list with eighteen phones that will receive the update to MIUI 13. This includes devices from the Mi 11 and 11T series. The list can be found at the bottom of this article.
MIUI 13
Last December we already came up with a list of Xiaomi devices that would receive the update to MIUI 13. However, during an event, at which the international Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 series was also announced, the Chinese manufacturer announced an (even) larger list with no fewer than eighteen devices that will receive MIUI 13 worldwide.
Xiaomi’s new software is based on Android 12 and comes with some new features. For example, it gets the ‘Liquid Storage’ function, which should ensure more effective management of file storage. MIUI will also receive a function that will manage the working memory, so that the smartphone will handle this more efficiently. Xiaomi also reports the arrival of new designs, widgets and customization options.
Security
In addition to the functions mentioned above, security will also have to play a major role, according to Xiaomi. In MIUI 13, for example, the biometric security should work better and, above all, more advanced because it will not only look at your face, but also at other physical characteristics. Think of a pimple here and there, if you have one. Xiaomi will also warn its users against malicious phone numbers and links.
