More power for Ford GT as standard

Ford has once put its sportiest car, the GT, under a magnifying glass. The result is a subtle update in various areas.

Ford has good news for enthusiasts: the GT gets more power. The already modest 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 biturbo is now good for 660 hp. That is 13 hp more than before! Ford also implements numerous other technical updates, such as improved engine cooling through new air ducts, among other things. The standard equipment is increased with the premium titanium exhaust from Akrapovic.

The Liquid Carbon version is added to the delivery range. The emphasis was on the lightweight carbon fiber carriage. Ford works with a colorless paint, making the material clearer to see. The wheels are also made from the lightweight material in this version. The special version with which Ford looks back on the Le Mans victory of 1968-1969 also undergoes a subtle intervention. The optionally available number on the carriage of the special edition was a 9, but will now be a 6, wow!

Ford has already started the production of the updated GT. The manufacturer indicates that the production of the GT will be continued up to a maximum of 2022.
