New basic version for Fiat Doblò Cargo

We rarely have news about the current Fiat Doblò on Techzle.nl. In addition, it is also the order version Doblò Cargo that is in the spotlight. The almost forgotten Fiat commercial vehicle will be given a new basic version that will give the purchaser a considerably lower starting price.

The first generation Fiat Doblò was not a rarity on Dutch roads at the beginning of this decade, among other things as a passenger version. The current second generation Doblò, which was presented in 2010 and also got an Opel Combo brother, is much less popular as a passenger variant. That version has not been delivered in the Netherlands since 2016, but the now 11-year-old and current Doblò in 2015 facelifted is still for sale as a company car and it is the Doblò Cargo of which a new basic version is now available.

The commercial vehicle version of the Fiat Doblò can be ordered from Fiat Professional in various shapes and sizes. For example, you can get the practical Italian with an open loading platform (Work-Up), the platform cabin, which is suitable for a superstructure, is available in two lengths and the closed-order version Doblò Cargo is also available in two lengths. The longest (4.98 meters) Doblo is also available in two height versions. However, it is the L1H1 variant, the 4.41 meter long Doblò Cargo, which is now available in a new EasyPro version.

The Doblò Cargo EasyPro has just like roughly half of its brothers 1.6 MultiJet2 diesel engine under the hood. In the Doblò Cargo, however, that machine is not 105 hp or 120 hp strong, but delivers exactly 100 hp. The maximum torque is 320 Nm, incidentally, the same as that of the stronger 1.6 diesels and the 100 hp version also has a manual six-speed gearbox. The Doblò Cargo EasyPro has a starting price of € 11,299 excluding VAT and bpm, making it no less than € 4,700 cheaper than the previously cheapest Doblò Cargo, the Basic version with 95 hp 1.3 MultiJet2 diesel.

As you might already expect, the EasyPro is a particularly stripped-down version of the Doblò Cargo that, compared to the previously bareest version, the Basic, has to do without things like a radio, air conditioning, sliding door and central door locking with remote control. The Doblò Cargo also has no spare wheel and even has to do without a lockable dashboard compartment. Electrically operated front side windows, power steering, an on-board computer and a start-stop system are present.
