New CEO for Lamborghini

Lamborghini has a new CEO as of December 1. Stéphan Winkelmann will then take over from departing CEO Stefano Domenicali.

In September, it was announced that Stefano Domenicali is moving from his position as CEO of Lamborghini for the literal top position on the board of the top-class racing world: Formula 1. Stefano Domenicali will hand over the baton to another Stephan, and not just any one! Stephan Winkelmann will be at the helm of Lamborghini on December 1, becoming both CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Currently, 56-year-old Winkelmann is already fulfilling the latter role at Bugatti.

Stephan Winkelmann is no stranger to Lamborghini. Between 2005 and 2016, he was also CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Italian car manufacturer. After a brief foray at Audi Sport GmbH, Winkelmann took the Bugatti throne in 2017. Winkelmann will keep his functions at Lamborghini and Bugatti side by side. There is work to be done for Winkelmann.
